Klek is a duet band formed in January 2020 by Salvador Holbox and AJ Méndez on the advice, instigation and inspiration of Jaz Coleman, vocalist and co-founder of the cult English band and post punk legends (Killing Joke).

Jaz Coleman chose the city of Queretaro in Mexico as the place to rest after his most recent tour, a little before the pandemic began and during that period, at a meeting in Querétaro Mexico, Jaz introduced Salvador with AJ, two Mexican musicians Killing Joke fans who met until that moment through a meeting organized by Jaz, and in that meeting Jaz had the idea of creating this duet under his advice and direction of the sound that the three of us are looking for in this project, during the 2020-2021 pandemic. , Klek worked with Jaz on 3 songs under his direction in different places in Mexico.

This band is part of his Big Thrash Masterclass by Jaz Coleman:

Klek continues working on more singles for promotion and to be able to publish his first EP in 2024
