KLEK is sound in a state of collision. It's a sonic force emerging from the intersection of post-punk and industrial influences. Distorted and atmospheric guitars, harsh synthesizers, and electronic sequences construct a landscape of constant tension: ritual, noise, and consciousness. Music created for a fractured world. Their music doesn't accompany: it confronts, envelops, and lingers.

Post-punk and industrial as a language of resistance.

Formed in January 2020, KLEK is a duo comprised of musicians and producers Salvador Holbox and AJ Méndez, born from the suggestion, vision, and inspiration of Jaz Coleman, vocalist and co-founder of the cult British band Killing Joke, a key figure in the history of post-punk and industrial music.

The project takes shape within the BIG THRASH MASTERCLASS, an initiative created by Jaz Coleman as "a personal crusade to promote a new generation of experimental, explosive, and activist bands committed to intensity, disruption, and sonic evolution." (Jaz)
